New trustees for Home-Start Slough
HSS has welcomed three new trustees who have started with the charity just in time for its 20th anniversary.
Help raise £20,000
HSS is calling on residents and businesses to help them raise £20,000: £1,000 for every year they have been helping vulnerable families in the Slough area.
Event held regarding support for families of children with learning disabilities or autism
Home-Start Slough will be hosting a referrer open house event at their offices on March 7, 2016, to discuss the new award they have received from NHS England to support families of young children with learning difficulties or autism.
Charity calls on ‘dress-up’ donations
Home-Start Slough is calling on residents to donate any unwanted dress-up clothes for their Family Support Group, where parents go every week to gain support from the charity and meet other mums and dads.

Home-Start Slough will be celebrating it twentieth year in Spring and is going from strength to strength.
£110,000 grant for HSS
HSS has received a grant from Children in Need of £110,000, spread over the next three years, to build on its core work and is focussed around improving healthy outcomes for hard to reach children.
Open day showcase for HSS
HSS will be hosting an open house buffet lunch at Duffield House on December 7 to show its services and highlight how the charity can help professionals working with families.
Festive fun at afternoon tea
HSS will be hosting a festive afternoon tea at the Grovefield House Hotel in Taplow on Wednesday, December 2 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
